Shari Belafonte

Actress, model, writer and singer. The daughter of singer Harry Belafonte, she is known for her role as Julie Gilette on the 1980s television series Hotel and as a spokesperson for the diet supplement Slim-Fast during the 1990s.

Christine La Monte

AMPAS member. Producer and former marketing executive at Disney, Universal, and Orion, is founder and president of La Monte Productions where her most recent producing effort includes the upcoming feature documentary, VIVA VERDI! shot in Milan and slated for 2020 release. She produced the award-winning short, DANDELION DHARMA; the theatrical play, Three Grooms & A Bride; and the syndicated television show, Marilu, starring Marilu Henner. A past faculty member of New York’s School of Visual Arts, La Monte is a former Executive Vice President of the Motion Picture Group at Rogers & Cowan, and worked internationally launching TV 3 New Zealand, and in marketing at Cinécitta in Rome.  

James Tumminia

James Tumminia is a 2019 Emmy-nominated producer of Love, Gilda, the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival opening-night documentary on the late Saturday Night Live star Gilda Radner.  The film features appearances by Chevy Chase, Bill Hader, Melissa McCarthy, Lorne Michaels, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph and Martin Short.  His other producing credits, reflecting a myriad of voices, include:  2018’s All She Wrote starring Gary Dourdan (CSI) and written and directed by Niki Iliev; the award-winning Violet, directed and written by Luiso Berdejo and starring Carlos Bardem; Somebody’s Mother directed by Gabriela Tollman; 1st Strike, the festival award-winning Latino drama starring Danny Trejo and directed by David Llauger Meiselman; and the family drama Three Days in August directed by Johnathan Brownlee and starring Barry Bostwick. All released films are available on digital platforms. He is currently in pre-production on The Little Devil and The Big Demon. For TV, James has produced countless hours of programming for the major broadcast and cable networks, including the event specials Gilda Radner’s Greatest Moments (ABC), Abbott & Costello Meet Jerry Seinfeld (NBC) and Bob Hope’s last special. He was head of production at GPA Entertainment and has consulted at ABC Studios, Disney Channel, Hodder TV and on Michael Moore’s Broadway debut. James produced the pilot and web series, Vendetta, many short films and made his directorial debut in the award-winning My Christmas Wish.  Born and raised in New York City and a graduate of Georgetown University, he’s a member of the Producers Guild of America, Television Academy and SAG-AFTRA (select acting credits: Criminal MindsResident EvilAngels & DemonsMelissa & Joey and The Shield).
