Based on a true events from 2021, this film follows a young immigrant girl transporting drugs who gets stranded in the Sonoran desert. She’s saved from near death by a kind teenage boy from a reservation. Overcoming language and cultural differences, they wait for her ride to arrive at his reservation home, they forge a powerful connection in a land where the border between good and evil is hard to see. This is a story of survival, compassion, and resilience.

Adam Conte
Adam Conte is a multifaceted creative force hailing from the rich heritage of the Oneida and Mohawk tribes. As an award-winning director and Emmy award-winning Director of Photography, he has carved a distinct path in the world of filmmaking. Adam began as a commercial director, where his innate talent for storytelling and keen eye for detail quickly set him apart. His commercials have not only captivated audiences but also translated into tremendous financial success for his clients. However, it was his deep-rooted passion for his indigenous background that ignited his true calling. Driven by the desire to showcase the untold stories and struggles of his people, Adam embarked on a mission to portray their narratives in a dignified and authentic light. He believes that storytelling can be a powerful tool for preserving culture, fostering understanding, and inspiring positive change.
