Ryan RedCorn, fresh out of (Disney/Fx) Reservation Dog’s writer’s room, is a Native American Filmmaker based on the Osage Indian Reservation in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He co-founded the 1491s, an all Indigenous comedy troupe, with Sterlin Harjo (Showrunner and Co-Creator – Reservation Dogs), Migizi Pensoneau (writer/producer Reservation Dogs), Bobby Wilson (writer, story editor, actor Reservation Dogs and Rutherford Falls), and Dallas Goldtooth (writer, actor Reservation Dogs – Rutherford Falls actor). Ryan is the co-owner of Buffalo Nickel Creative and in 2019 directed the Wes Studi Governor’s Awards tribute film for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a Take Action Film for Paramount + on the Keystone XL Pipeline. In 2021, he directed a one hour documentary for PBS’s Roadtrip Nation and then joined the Reservation Dogs writer’s room for season 2, co-writing two episodes. Ryan is an enrolled member of the Osage Nation.
