DIRECTORS STATEMENT

Discovering previously unseen documents and the stories that connect us to our past has been a driving interest in my life. When I became aware of this remarkable project and the discovery of the Chickasaw documents in the United Kingdom by Professor Baker and his team it was clear it must be communicated by film. This is my directorial debut in documentary film making.
